Was pretty disappointed by ‘Alien: Covenant’. There was glimpses of awesome action reminiscent of the original trilogy, but this was mixed with too many aspects that made me feel like I was watching ‘Prometheus 2’.
I really wanted to enjoy ‘Ghost In The Shell’, but despite the pretty special effects and the awesome landscapes, I couldn’t see past a pretty weak storyline. Often clunky, the film just felt like it was all too often preparing for its sequel.
I’m a huge sucker for films that mainly take place in one room. Ones like The Breakfast Club and The Hateful Eight, where a bunch of characters are basically forced […]
A giant gorilla on top of the Empire State Building, holding a woman in one hand, batting off fighter planes with the other… Cinema just doesn’t get any more iconic […]
‘Get Out’ was absolutely nothing like I expected. Yet beneath the weird and wonderful events going on onscreen, there is certainly some deeper social commentary at play. This satire comedy is definitely worth a watch!
Unfortunately, ‘Rings’ is the worst new 2017 film I’ve seen so far this year. ‘Rings’ tried its best to inject some new life into the well-known horror story but ultimately failed.
My review of ‘Lion’, a film based on a book and the true story of Saroo Brierley. Brought to life by the likes of Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman and Sunny Pawar this film definitely gives the original story some true justice.
Here are my thoughts on ‘The Lego Batman Movie’. Fun and clever, it’s more for the DC Batman fans than for the kids. Oh, and its much better than the Lego Movie!
I really enjoyed ‘La La Land’ it was a great film that is fun, lighthearted and has a great story behind it. Is the new 2017 film as good as everyone is making it out to be?
Loved ‘Split’ as a film, McAvoy was ace and was thrilled throughout. The ending was a little disappointing, wasn’t 100% on board with this M. Night Shyamalan plot twist.
